OneDeduction is not a registered tax agent and does not provide tax advice or lodge returns. All tax advice and services are provided solely by the Professional you are matched with, under their own registration and terms.
2. Using the service
Our matching form is free to use and places you under no obligation. By submitting the form you ask us to pass your details to one or more Professionals in our network who we consider suitable for your circumstances. You choose whether to engage any Professional we refer you to.
3. No guaranteed outcome
We do not guarantee that you will be matched with a Professional, that any Professional will accept your enquiry, or any particular refund amount or outcome. Figures referenced on our website (such as average client refunds) are indicative only, based on aggregate historical data across our network, and are not a prediction or guarantee for your individual circumstances.
4. Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, current information when using our form. You remain responsible for your own tax obligations and for reviewing and verifying any advice or services provided by a matched Professional before relying on it.
5. Fees
We do not charge you to use our matching service. Any fees for tax preparation, lodgement or advice are set by, and payable directly to, the Professional you choose to engage — independently of OneDeduction.
6. Independent professionals
Professionals in our network operate independently and are not our employees, agents or partners. While we take reasonable steps to verify current ATO registration and professional membership before onboarding a Professional, we are not responsible or liable for the advice, conduct, acts or omissions of any Professional you engage.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, OneDeduction excludes all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or our referral service, including any loss arising from your dealings with a matched Professional. Nothing in these terms excludes any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Intellectual property
The content, design and branding of this website belong to OneDeduction Pty Ltd and may not be reproduced without our permission.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
